I was doing some work to the page that promotes the class that starts next month: GETTING OUT OF YOUR OWN WAY, with my friend Melissa. She’s been helping me out with web hosting and other technical stuff for a couple of years.
One of the things that had to get done was a change to the pricing. I had run an “early bird special” that had expired, and the correct buttons needed to replace the old ones.
If you’ve ever sold anything with Paypal as one of your payment options, you know you have two choices on your button: Buy Now or Add To Cart. I had reset the buttons with the correct pricing and gotten the code. I sent them over to her, thinking I had created Buy Now buttons. But when she added them to the page she told me they had popped up as Add To Cart.
I was all set to go back in and get new code with Buy Now, since there’s only one thing to buy on this particular page. There’s no “cart” to load.
Melissa came up with a thought that stopped me in my tracks…
“Leave it as Add To Cart. Maybe someone will want to buy a course for a friend.”
DUDE!!!!
I think I actually typed that word into the chat window we were using.
All this time it hadn’t occurred to me that anyone would want to do anything other than register for a course for themselves. And here Melissa comes with this bold, straight outta left field idea.
I’m going to take that as a compliment. Melissa’s been a student in the past few courses I’ve taught, and she apparently sees the value in offering them up to others.

When we commit to making the best use of our inner power by developing our skills, good stuff begins to happen. We get stronger, happier and better at what we do.
When we commit to helping others get there, while we get big and bold ourselves, magic starts to happen. We get stronger, and we also create an environment of strength around us.
And of course we challenge and encourage each other to grow.

Who are you taking with you? Who are you inviting to be happy, healthy and prosperous?
Are you willing to fully take the journey right along with them? It’s not enough to point folks in the right direction. It’s only authentic if you’re willing to walk with them.
And when you do, co-creation kicks in and miracles manifest!!!
