Heard as I past by my colleague, Marc.
.
He’s kind of a goofball, so I smiled and turned around.
.
“You want me to teach you how to juggle, Marc?”
.
“No, not that.” Then he pointed to his mid-section. He’s been jumping on and off diet programs for the last ten or so years I’ve known him.
.
It’s kind of funny. I caught a look at myself in the mirror the other day. I’m in very good shape, but a recent wave of soda drinking and candy eating deposited an extra pound or two on my belly.
.
(Yes, I feel the anger of those who have real struggles with weight. And yes, I am grateful for the kind of shape I’m in.)
.
I know he’s just kidding around. And I admire Marc’s determination.
.
The funny thing is until a few years ago I didn’t imagine myself being anyone’s role model for a body to admire. That changed when I started feeling better about myself as a person. I learned how to honor myself for who I am, NOT what I looked like or accomplished.
.
Who I am is eternal good, a reflection of a perfect Universe. Same as you. But that’s another conversation.
.
As I internalized my wholeness and worthiness, people showed up who reinforced it. I helped them, they helped me.
.
And opportunities showed up. I started learning the SKILLS that helped me manifest being rich, loved, abundant and healthy…
.
…and have abs that make Marc want to be like me.
.
So if you wanna be like me too, great! Be like me, or Michael Barrett, or David Di Francesco or one of the other “hard bodies” out there.
.
Just realize that what you REALLY want is to be more like your authentic self. It’ll come out.
.
Your Pal,
Larry

P.S. When we detach from worrying what bad stuff might show up - which is nearly all in our heads - and trust the Universe to deliver the good stuff in its own way and time, it all flows in beautifully! CLICK HERE to detach from fear.
